Welcome to Pirot!
Pirot is a small European city in the southeast of Serbia with a rich cultural tradition and a burning history. It is located on the important international transversal "Corridor 10", which connects Europe with Asia, in the Middle Ages known as Via militaris.
Pirot is the administrative center of the largest district in the Republic with Dimitrovrgad, Babusnica and Bela Palanka, while it is 1232 km2 in the Republic of Macedonia.
In the meantime, it was the center of the processing industry of dairy products, leather, wool, wood and clothing industry.
Pirot owes its fame to Pirot's sheep cheese, Pirot caraway and roast sausage.
